Dr Asim says will respect SC verdict

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Petroleum Dr Asim Hussain while commenting on the Supreme Court verdict has stated that the decision regarding enforcing the carbon tax was not taken in the drawing room; instead, it was approved by the Parliament; however, the verdict of the apex court will be fully respected.
He stated that following the SC decision, price of petroleum products will return to June30-level, adding that Saudi Arabian government did not give free of cost oil to Pakistan after 2005.-Agencies
