CJP Nisar to resume duty from today

ISLAMABAD: Just one day after going through treatment to open blocked artery to restore normal flow of the blood, the energetic and workaholic Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar on Monday stated that he would resume his duties from today.

CJP made these comments outside Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology as doctors discharged him citing improved health condition.

Earlier, CJP Justice Saqib Nisar was rushed to RIC where an angiography was performed by doctors to open blocked artery to restore normal flow of the blood.

Rangers took over security of the hospital to avoid any untoward situation.
Following the surgery, the chief justice was shifted to a room where his family was allowed to meet him. Justice Asif Saeed Khosa had also visited Justice Nisar at the hospital.

The hospital officials said that the chief justice has been advised to rest for at least four days.

Meanwhile, doctors on Monday discharged Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar as his health improved.

As per details garnered, doctors carried out a thorough medical examination before discharging the top judge.
