LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has said that the industries which have been reopened will have to ensure implementation on standard operating procedures (SOPs) for smooth functioning.
The chief minister said this while talking to Chairman Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company Mian Kashif Ishfaq in Lahore on Friday, who handed over a donation cheque of Rs4.5 million for Chief Minister’s Fund for Corona Relief.
He said the provincial government has allowed some industries to work while some others will resume work with improvement in coronavirus situation. The chief minister said the industries which have been reopened have to ensure implementation of standard operating procedures.
Meanwhile, Usman Buzdar has directed the authorities concerned to provide best facilities to coronavirus infected patients on priority basis.
Taking notice of patients’ protest at Expo Center Field Hospital Lahore, he sought report from the provincial health minister and health secretary and ordered for a probe into the incident. The chief minister also directed provision of standard meals to the patients on time. – TLTP
