After this very much informative visit, we were taken back to Hotel for Lunch. After lunch we visited Shanghai East Container Terminal (Management Company SECT), where Wu Chun Kai Manager Operation along with his assistant Ms Dong Qing Wei, received us and took us to their Seminar Room where they briefed us about the SECT and its progress over the last 16 years. They also replied questions of the delegates relating to the New Stories of The Silk Road.
They informed us that SECT remained number one worldwide for the past 8 years consecutively. The SECT was formed in 2002 and it started its operations from 2003. Wu Chun Kai said there are two major Containers Terminal Zones operating in Shanghai (SIPG), the port operator of Shanghai Port, the busiest port in China and APM Terminal (APMT), a subsidiary of A.P. The advance management philosophy and rich experience in port operations of both the shareholders will definitely help SECT to achieve a fast-paced and sustainable growth with vitality.

After the visit of SECT, our next stop was Oriental Pearl Tower of Shangahi which was very Amazing and informative. The tower have over the Huangpu river and have total height of 351 meter, Revolving restaurant located on 267 meter height and theScenic Area was 251 meter high from the ground level where we viewed all around the Shanghai. It looks amazing and beautiful to see countless high rise buildings and sailing cruises on the Huangpu River which is in the center of Shanghai. After the view from top, we visited a Beautiful and huge Museum in this tower of Chinese ancient history to modern era, including old cars of previous century to modern cars. It was very much interesting and full of history but due to shortage of time we just looked aroundthe three floors of this museum.
After this last official visit of the first day of this trip, our bus was ready to leave back to the hotel, but Pakistani delegation took permission from host to visit on the cruise at the Huangpu River at their own and after getting the permission we reached the Huangpu River Terminal, purchased tickets of Cruise for RMB 130 each and took ride of the cruise which was amazing and memorable ride. After this ride we decided to experience travel on Taxi at our own in China and then came back to our hotel.
In my this visit of China, I am suffering very much for connecting with my office for sending my daily Diaries of the trip and photos of our visits due to non-availability ofGmail, Google, Face Book and WhatsApp, etc., here in China. I have created new email on Yahoo to send diaries from China, but was not able to send photos of the visits. I am not able to send pictures from my cell due to theinternet connectivity issue. Our host also failed to provide me few pictures of the current activities,so dear readers, just enjoy with this write-up and without pictures of our current activities and pray for the connectivity.
