WASHINGTON: Nadeem Hotiana, a former Press Minister at the Pakistan Embassy here, has passed away of complications from Corona virus.
Hotiana, 50, was reported to be recovering from the virus but his condition deteriorated over the past couple of days and he breathed his last on Friday night. He was a refined diplomat and very fine human being, always ready to help the Pakistani press based in the US. He was one of the founding members of The Global Beat Foundation, an educational organization that focusses on South Asian journalism.
The deceased has left behind his wife, two sons and a daughter as well as many friends and admirers to mourn his loss.
After completion of his assignment at the Embassy, he settled down in Fairfax, Virginia.
