Good news for twin cities’ journalists

ISLAMABAD: Raja Pervez Akhtar, Managing Director of Punjab Journalist Housing Foundation (PJHF), visited the Media Town Islamabad Friday.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss matters related to the Media Town Islamabad and the new residential colony (Media Town Phase-II) for journalists, says a Press release.

General Secretary of Media Town, Rana Qaiser, President of National Press Club Tariq Mahmood Chaudhary, Vice President of Media Town Tariq Malik, in their discussion with Rao Pervez Akhtar agreed on cooperation with all stakeholders on mutual cooperation.

The suggestions regarding the construction of hospital, school, community centre and commercial area regarding the Media Town Islamabad, were discussed and it would be agreed that soon the progress would be made in order to resolve the long-term problems of the residents.

The next meeting regarding Phase-II of the Media Town will be held in Lahore while it was agreed that Media Town Phase-II will start as soon as possible.
