Thousand of devotees attend the three-day festivities

HYDERABAD: In honor of the birth of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS), known as the Lion of God, the Conqueror of Khyber and Khandaq, and the Leader of the Pious, who was born inside the Holy Kaaba, grand and spiritually radiant gatherings took place across the four subdivisions of Hyderabad – City, Latifabad, Qasimabad, and Rural. The celebrations began on the night preceding 12th Rajab.
On Tuesday, after the Zuhr prayers, the ancient procession of Chadar Mubarak was taken out from Tando Wali Muhammad.
According to a statement issued by Zawar Abdul Sattar Dars, patron of the Azadari Rabita Committee, celebrations, gatherings, and rallies marking the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS) were held in all Imambargahs, neighborhoods, and streets of Hyderabad, with large-scale arrangements for food distribution (Nazr and Niyaz).
The concluding programs of the three-day celebrations at the shrine of Bibi Masooma-e-Sindh Bibi Maham Khadija (SA) in Agham Kot were attended by thousands of devotees from across Sindh.
In Hyderabad, after the Zuhr prayers on Tuesday, the central Chadar Mubarak procession began from Mehfil-e-Shah-e-Najaf in Tando Wali Muhammad, proceeded through various areas of the city, and concluded at Qadamgah Mola Ali (AS). The previous two days witnessed magnificent celebrations at most Imambargahs and various locations in the city in connection with Maulood-e-Kaaba.
