KARACHI: Mrs. Sadia Rashid, President, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan and Dr. Imran Usmani, President, Ihsan Trust signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for financial assistance on behalf of their respective institutions. Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, Managing Trustee & Treasurer, Ihsan Trust, Fayyazur Rehman, General Manager, Ihsan Trust; Hamza Khan and others also present on the occasion.

KARACHI: Pakistan’s two renowned philanthropic institutions, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan and Ihsan Trust have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday in a ceremony held at Hamdard Head Office, Karachi.
Mrs. Sadia Rashid, President, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan and Dr. Imran Usmani, President, Ihsan Trust signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. As per the MoU, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan will provide financial assistance of Rs. 50 lakh for brilliant but deserving students to Ihsan Trust. On the occasion, the Managing Trustee and Treasurer of Ihsan Trust, Ahmed Ali Siddiqui said that the Trust was founded in 2010 with the aim to provide interest free loan on ‘Need-cum-Merit’ basis to deserving students of higher secondary education so that they could pursue higher education.
The Mutawallia of Hamdard (Waqf) Fatima Munir Ahmed; General Manager of Ihsan Trust, Fayyaz ur Rehman and Dy. Director Finance of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, Muhammad Hamza Khan also attended the ceremony.
