KARACHI: A Seerat Conference for children on the theme: “Virtue of our Beloved Prophet (SAAW)” comprised of recitation of verses from holy Qur’an, Hamd, Mehfil-i-Na’at, Rasm-i-Bismillah and speeches, was held at Bait-ul-Hikmah Auditorium, Madinat al-Hikmah under the auspices of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, here Sunday, says a Press release.
Renowned industrialist and a member of Shura Hamdard, Naushaba Khalil Sattar was invited as a guest speaker in the meeting. Mrs. Sadia Rashid, President Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, also attended the meeting.
Naushaba Khalil Sattar in her keynote address said: “The life of Prophet Muhamad (SAAW) is a beacon of light for all humanity. Hazrat Muhammad (SAAW) was the most exalted messenger of God, who was sent, being a blessing to humanity and world. The purpose of his arrival to the world is to inculcate moral values in human societies. Prophet Muhammad SAAW epitomized an exceptional moral character and deeds.”
She also said: “Allah Almighty has set forth the perfect moral standards for all humans in the Holy Quran. The practical example of these Qur’anic teachings is the life of the Holy Prophet (SAAW). The basic tenets of Islam also teach us morals. Such as Nimaz teaches us humility, Hajj teaches us patience and piousness, zakat makes us help deserving and needy people and fasting teaches us forbearance.”
“We should all follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAAW), because whoever adopts Hayat-e-Tayyaba, gets ascension, such as the founder of Hamdard Pakistan, Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said. All his life, he followed the teachings of Islam and became a blessing to our country. He waged a holy war against ignorance by establishing the best educational institutions,” she added.
Young speakers from different schools highlighted many of the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAAW) in their speeches. Later Rasm-i-bismillah of Syeda Hoorain Arsalan and Mahfil-i-Na’at were also held on the occasion. Speaker of Naunehal Assembly Karachi chapter, Eshal Rizwan moderated the Seerat Conference.
