At least two persons were killed and over a dozen sustained injuries in an explosion in Balochistan’s provincial capital on Tuesday.
The blast occurred near a vehicle of the security forces on McConaughey Road in Quetta.
Injured have been rushed to the hospital while more casualties are feared.
Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area. The cause of the blast has yet to be determined.
Provincial Interior Minister Ziaullah Langove has strongly condemned the blast saying “anti-state elements are trying to sabotage the law and order situation in the country”.
Balochistan has been wrecked by ethnic, sectarian, militant and separatist violence fed by a potpourri of groups.
