The price of flour has been decided to increase by Rs7 per kg in Karachi after uncontrollable inflation has continued to create problems for the general masses.

According to details, the flour mill owners said that the government has increased taxes due to which they are also raising the price of the flour.

After imposition of 70 percent sales tax, the cost of 50 kg fine flour sack is likely to be increased by Rs360 while the plain flour sack will be sold with a price hike of Rs325.

Reacting to the new prices, the poverty-stricken people said that the government has failed to provide them relief as they are unable to buy domestic goods due to inflation.
