KARACHI: Meezan Bank cricket team win final of 1st Challenger Cup 2019 by 8 wickets against Siemens Pakistan, says a Press release.
Batting first after a flying start Siemens Pakistan was restricted to 94 runs (all out). Siemens batsmen was helpless against excellent bowling of man of the match (final) Mirza Ayub Baig 4 wkts for 10 runs and Azfar Irfan 3/18 was well supported by Noman Khan 2/26.
In run chase excellent batting by Haq Nawaz 41 runs and Faisal Iqbal 32 runs ensure the victory in 13 over for the loss of 2 wickets. Meezan Bank cricket team captain Mirza Ayub Baig for his outstanding performance throughout the event was declared man of match (final) and best bowler of the tournament, boom boom Faisal Iqbal received best batsman of the tournament trophy and Siemens team captain Sami clinch player of the tournament award.
