Syed Ibne Hassan hopes for the best, on Eid

Most famous and renowned Media Friend all over Pakistan Syed Ibne Hassan is currently serving with National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) as spokesperson. He is VP/Divisional Head of Corporate Communication and Brands Management of NBP. Ibne Hassan is also a senior journalist and expert in Pakistan economy and banking sector and serving in banking sector for more than two decades. He is very popular in print and electronic media persons throughout the country.
On this Eid, he managed some time with his family to attend an Eid dinner hosted by Secretary General of Karachi Editors Club (KEC) during the week at Do Darya. On this occasion he discussed prevailing worst issues to media and current economic crises of Pakistan. He said Pakistan has potential and resources to be a richest country, and hoped the situation of Pakistan would soon be better with wise and bold planning by our patriot policy makers.

Secretary General KEC thanked Ibne Hassan on his positive thinking about economy of Pakistan and for gracing the occasion along with his family.

Govt will facilitate investors: Alvi

President Arif Alvi assured that the federal government will fully facilitate the investors for promoting economic activities in the country. These views were expressed by him while talking to traders and businessmen who called on him in Karachi to exchange Eid greetings during the reported week.
The President said concrete steps are being taken for ease of doing business in the country and results of these policies will soon be visible.
Arif Alvi was confident that the current difficult economic situation will soon be overcome.
The businessmen and traders apprised the President about their problems.
People belonging to a different stratum of society including diplomats and political personalities also called on the President at Governor House Karachi and exchanged Eid greetings with him.

Allama Abbas Kumaili passes away

During the Eid holidays Millat-e-Jafaria shocked to know the sad demise of prominent religious scholar and head of the Jaffria Alliance, Allama Abbas Kumaili who passed away Saturday in Karachi, the spokesperson for the Majlis-i-Wahdat-i-Muslimeen (MWM) said. His funeral prayers were held a Mehfil Shah-e-Khurasan and was laid to rest at his native Ali Bagh graveyards.
According to the MWM spokesperson, the deceased had been undergoing treatment for the past few days at a hospital in the Soldier Bazaar area.
His 42-year-old son, Allama Ali Akbar Kumaili, was shot dead in Bhangoria Goth, along with his guard in September, 2014.
MWM, along with the Shia Ulema Council expressed their sorrow and condolences over the passing away of the esteemed scholar and termed him a national asset.
“His services shall always be remembered,” said MWM.
The leader of the MWM, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, offered his condolences to the deceased’s family. He said Kumaili had always remained a strong proponent of unity among Muslims.
“He was counted among the most exalted scholars in Pakistan,” remarked the MWM spokesperson. He said that the deceased scholar was also a patron member of the Palestine Foundation (PLF) Pakistan.
“He always raised his voice for the oppressed people of Palestine and Kashmir,” the spokesperson added.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise, saying the departed was a renowned religious scholar and a good human being. “His efforts for sectarian harmony will always be remembered,” he said in a statement.
Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) Information Secretary Sardar Abdul Rahim also expressed sorrow over the incident and prayed for the departed soul.
