Worst banking by Askari Bank
Muhammad Arif, Ex Director of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and Chairman Centre of Advisory for Islamic Banking has shared his worst experience of banking in Pakistan especially with Askari Bank, we have already various complaints against worst banking being provided by Askari Bank which will be sharing soon with our readers in exclusive articles.
Arif in his complain which is widely circulating on social media said: “Pakistani banks including State Bank have gone highly worst. Recent example is of myself who remained part of SBP for 40 years and on retirement was Director of one of its department. My daughter Dr Samreen recently sent me few pounds from her account in Barclay Bank London into my foreign currency account maintained with Askari Bank Malir Cantt in pounds. The amount has not yet come into my account. According to my information two banks in Pakistan are involved i.e. Askari Bank and Standard Chartered Bank with its nostro. To delay the transaction they are asking irrelevant questions like where I was born and what is my date of birth whereas each and every information is available with the bank in my opened account and further being a tax filer. Actually these banks are part of the mafia along with money changers FX smugglers along with SBP. They all want that FX should not move into any valid FC account maintained in Pakistan. Along with other reasons they are also responsible for PKR depreciation. It looks strange that NAB is working against few notable politicians and taking no action against these filthy elements in the banking industry.”
The Effie Award Pakistan 2019
Stripsils Pakistan has won the Musical Effie Gold Award. According to details Pakistan Advertising Society had arranged the Best in Brand Content and Best in Health products, and the Stripsils Stereo also won the second Gold Award. METRO Pakistan wins Social Responsibility Award
METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan, the leading international wholesale company, was one of the winners at the prestigious Shaukat Khanam Social Responsibility Excellence Award held by the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre to recognise their role in the fund raising efforts. Karachi Premier Football League
Preparation for Karachi Premier Football League under the supervision of Football Club Karachi, has started. Six teams from the city will participate in KPFL. Three matches will be played in a week and the event will be played on home and away basis, which will be a new system added to Pakistani Football modelled around European Football Framework. This League will continue for three months where advanced methods of data collection would be used for the first time in Pakistan – which would be used to make this event a spectacle. Video Footage of the best players would also be sent to foreign scouts in order to observe local talent.
Founder and President Football Club Karachi Hamza Farooque said that despite limited resources FCK is active in promoting football activities and we are continuously organizing different events, and providing a platform which is useful for players to develop and showcase their talent upon. He further said that electronic systems would be setup in this League to monitor the local player, so that trends can be extracted on which there can be targeted improvements.
