KARACHI: Director High Performance Nadeem Khan said the Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium is a beautiful addition to Karachi.
As soon as the facilities are completed, it will gradually host domestic and international matches.
Pakistan Cricket Board Director High Performance Nadeem Khan visited the Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium in Karachi on the instructions of PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja. Nadeem Khan went through various parts of the cricket stadium. Syed Muhammad Talha in his briefing said that there are five pitches in the gound having flood lights apart from wickets for net practice. The pavilion will have a seating capacity of 10,000 spectators. The stadium is nearing completion with a world-class dressing room, fitness gym, swimming pool and 56-room five-star hotel.
Syed Mohammad Talha said that Chairman Arif Habib is a sports lover and that is why he is building Naya Nazimabad as a sports city.
Nadeem Khan expressed satisfaction over the facilities at the stadium and added that after ICC requirements are fulfilled matches will be played here.
