KARACHI: Renowned pediatrician and research scholar Prof. Dr. Abdul Gaffar Billoo, Director Nursing Sindh, Shabbir Jithial, Hospital, CEO, Dr. Khalid Iqbal, Assistant Prof. Shehla Director Nursing, Dow University of Health Sciences, Controller Nursing, Ms. Khairunnisa, Ms. Saima along with faculty and staff are in a group photo at research seminar organized by Kharadar General Hospital School of Nursing.

KARACHI: Kharadar General Hospital, School of Nursing organized research seminar. On this occasion, renowned pediatrician and research scholar Prof. Dr. Abdul Gaffar Billoo said research activities can make us learn latest educational methodologies to combat health challenges for that we need to follow research pathway, says a Press research.

He said that in order to extend our research activities we need to create research friendly environment. Progress of research activities of health and other sector of Pakistan are not satisfactory. All over the world, funds have been allocated for research which is the reason for their progress.

Director Nursing Sindh, Shabbir Jithial address the audience and said today’s student entering the field of research will emerge as research scholar or scientist in the near future and will bring prosperity to the nation. Profession of the nursing can progress by leading towards new way of technology.

Assistant Prof. Shehla Director Nursing, Dow University of Health Sciences shared her views and said that in order to address the nursing manpower issue we need to take immediate step.

Kharadar General Hospital, CEO, Dr. Khalid Iqbal said that nursing profession act like a spinal cord of the health sector. Quality healthcare is not possible without the high level of support from the nursing staff. Expansion of Nursing profession can address the manpower issue but will also save millions of pregnant mothers’ and neonatals life and reduce the number of deaths.

Controller Nursing, Ms. Khairunnisa, Ms. Saima and others also addressed the seminar.
