GUJRANWALA: Didi Faisal Ahmed Saleh, Acting High Commissioner, Malaysian High Commission, Islamabad, said that Pakistan and Malaysia have Islamic brotherhood and friendly relations.
He said there are numerous investment opportunities in Malaysia especially for the Pakistani business community in Gujranwala. He also briefed the members about the economy of Malaysia in detail.
He expressed these views while addressing the members of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was chaired by the President of Gujranwala Chamber Muhammad Shoaib Butt.
Senior Vice President Afaq Ayub, Vice President Waqas Afzal, Members of the Working Committee, Former Presidents Akhlaq Ahmed Butt, Saeed Ahmed Taj, Mian Amir Aziz, former Vice President Azhar Aslam and a large number of members of the business community were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, the President of Gujranwala Chamber, Muhammad Shoaib Butt, while presenting a letter of thanks, gave a detailed briefing on the industrial importance of Gujranwala. There is no compromise in the quality of the products. That is why the products manufactured by the craftsmen of Gujranwala have a special place in the world market.
He said: “In this regard, I suggest that a committee be formed between the Gujranwala Chamber and the Malaysian High Commission in this regard. Will also get more information about Gujranwala products. In addition, free trade agreements between Pakistan and Malaysia need to be given maximum priority so that the two countries have easy access to each other’s markets.”
