KARACHI: Pakistan’s economy is facing hard time and yet to come out of hot waters and in such a situation public and private sectors have to strive hard to bring it out from hot-waters, this was stated by the President Federation of Chambers and Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Engr. Daroo Khan Achakzai. Speaking as Chief Guest at the 17th International exhibition of plastics, printing, Plasti & Pack and 16th International exhibition of Food & Beverage processing and packaging, IFTECH Pakistan inaugurated on Tuesday here at Karachi Expo Centre, says a Press release.
Daroo Khan while appreciating the efforts of the organizers to hold mega events to promote industrial and export-oriented is the need of the hour as such events are vital and extremely helpful to bring new technology and upgrade the export-oriented units so that they could be able to compete outer world and maintain their export market abroad. He said that a number of significant countries are participating in this show and he believes that such events would be a big help to rescue our economy from the red.
The Managing Director of Pegasus Consultancy, the event organizers, Aamer Khanzada said on the occasion that Plasti and Pack and IFTECH is the regular feature of the organizers and despite all odds and slowing down economy, the mega event is being held with more enthusiastic and greater spirit in order to extend the local industries to compete in the international markets.
He said that in order to extend information and introduce latest technology, seminars on the subjects are also being organized side by side wherein technology and trade experts would apprise the latest trends in this sector and suggest the local manufacturers to how to get more value of their products in the international markets.
The chief guest later on inaugurated the show by cutting the ribbon in a graceful ceremony.
