Pakistan Navy Busts a drug smuggling attempt at sea

Pak’s Navy Public Relation Wing reported that the Navy was successful in busting a major contingent of drugs being smuggled by sea in an intelligence based operations today on Friday.

Seaways next to the Mubarak Village, near the outskirts of Karachi was raided today and an abundant amounts of Hashish and Heroin were found and seized.

The details of the raid concluded that amounts worth of 300 million rupee of drugs were impounded. This included around 675 kilograms of Hashish and 4 kilograms of Heroin.

In a statement regarding the recent successful bust, the spokesman for Pak Navy said this operation was done in close collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics force (ANF) who supervised and kept a close check on the suspected vessel containing drugs as well as the entire operation.

The spokesperson further gave credit to the ANF and said that the  drug bust operation was evidence of the fact that the Navy is competent and more than capable to keep the sea clean and clear from criminal activities and corruption. Today’s success was a testament to that fact. Moreover he further stated that Pakistan Navy was more than ready to conduct its affairs and perform its duties with vigilance, due diligence and integrity.
