KARACHI: Pakistan Federation Baseball is holding National Training Camp of Pakistan U-12 Baseball Team for the participation in U12 Asian Baseball Championship 2018 Taiwan, says a Press release.
While talking with media, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah President Pakistan Federation Baseball told that Pakistan U-12 Baseball Team will participate in BFA U-12 Baseball Championship scheduled to be held in Taiwan from August 13-20, 2018. In this regard, Federation is holding National Training Camp of Pakistan U-12 Baseball Team from June 21 to August 12, 2018 at Aashiq Hussain Baseball Stadium Bahria Town, Lahore.
Fakhar Ali Shah told that Pakistan Federation Baseball is working on grass root level. National Youth Baseball Academy is already in progress for last one year. Young baseball players from FATA and Punjab are participating in the academy.
Fakhar Shah said that, as per directions of Shaukat Javed Chairman Pakistan Federation Baseball, we are trying to prepare a strong team. Federation has organized National Inter-School Baseball Championship in May to select talented baseball players for National Training Camp. He added that if we got 3rd position, we qualify for U-12 Baseball World Cup.
