KARACHI: Raisa Adil, Director General Press Information Department Karachi along with senior PID officials visited the offices of The Financial Daily. Executive Editor TFD received the honourable guests and briefed them about the functioning of the newspaper.
Mubasher Mir President Karachi Editors Club (KEC) and Fizzah Shakil Special Correspondence of The Financial Daily were also present on this occasion.
The Executive Editor TFD informed the DG PID that the TFD is providing Financial Data of Pakistan to prestigious international news agency Reuters for the last 13 years which is the main source of TFD revenues.
Mubsaher Mir also briefed the PID delegation about the functioning of the Karachi Editors Club. Fizzah Shakil also discussed problems facing by the journalists community.
The PID delegation under the leadership of Raisa Adil is on the mission of courtesy visits of various other newspapers these days. It seems that the PID officials are visiting the offices of newspapers under the instruction of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting with an objective to improve the working relationship between the Federal Government and the Print Media.
