PKR continues its winning
KARACHI- On Monday, the first working day of the week, the Pakistani currency continued to stabilise as it made new gains against the US dollar on the inter-bank market.
Details show that the local currency gained 42 paisa against the US dollar and was worth Rs219.5. According to data from Pakistan’s central bank, the rupee ended the day on Friday at Rs219.92.
From its all-time high of Rs239.94, the rupee has gained a total of Rs20.44 since then.
Bull also came back to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), as the benchmark KSE-100 index gained more than 300 points during intraday trade.
