PSO celebrates 43 years of excellence

KARACHI: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) celebrated its 43rd anniversary. A simple yet elegant cake-cutting ceremony was held at the company’s headquarter, PSO House in Karachi. Jehangir Ali Shah, MD & CEO, PSO, Ms. Tara Uzra Dawood, Muhammad Hamayun Khan Barakzai, Members of the PSO Board of Management, senior officials and employees of the company joined the celebrations, says a Press release.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Tara Uzra Dawood, Member PSO Board of Management, said: “In its growth journey spanning now over 43 years of dedication, the company has always been committed to contribute to the nation’s growth and sustainable development. This has been achieved through professionally trained, high quality, motivated workforce, working as a team with a strong devotion to company success goals.”

The company was set up on December 30, 1976 through a reorganization plan implemented by the Government of Pakistan merging Pakistan National Oils (PNO), Premier Oil Company and State Oil Company (SOCL).
