Riaz Pirzada inaugurates Speed Climbing Wall at Sports Complex
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Pirzada inaugurated Speed Climbing Wall here at Sports Complex on Tuesday.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony as chief guest, the federal minister said that today another sports facility has been added in sports world. He said that this facility of speed climbing wall will be useful for our climbers.
Federal Minister Riaz Pirzada congratulated Alpine Club of Pakistan and Pakistan Sports Board for the completion of sports climbing wall here at Sports Complex. He assured that Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) and Pakistan Sports Board will fully cooperate for the promotion of climbing in country.
The federal minister said government also hoped that Alpine Club of Pakistan will also play its role for the promotion of speed climbing and earns good name for country by participating in international competitions.
Government will provide full support for holding international events of climbing in Pakistan, he said. We will also help Alpine of Club of Pakistan for establishing training academy at Sports Complex, he added.
The federal minister also lauded the positive role of media for the promotion of sports in the country.
Secretary Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination Syed Abu Ahmad Akif and Director General Pakistan Sports Board Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera were also present on the occasion. – NNI
