Skilled women are valuable assets of country: Muffasar

KARACHI: Karachi Winter Gala Festival organized under the supervision of Red Sapphire was celebrated by the citizens who got themselves registered in a large number, says a Press release.
Citizens showed special interest in mehandi, handicrafts and other stalls.
President Karachi Chamber of Commerce Muffasar Atta Malik inaugurated the Karachi Winter Gala Festival in DA Creek Club. Hamna Nadeem and others were also present at the festival.
Muffasar Malik while addressing the participants said that shopping of different items along with recreational activities is very nice.
He said Karachi Chamber of Commerce will coordinate for different festivals in the city. He said that skilled women are valuable assets of the country. Handicraft items are extremely demanding in European countries, Europeans give a lot of value to the handmade products, he added.
He said every possible measure will be taken for taking handicraft products to the foreign exhibitions.
Organizer Hamna Nadeem, in her address on the occasion, said that festival contained more than 35 stalls like mehandi, décor, beauty products and garments. Citizens appreciated the festival by participating in it. We are very thankful to the citizens, she said adding that more festivals will be organized to facilitate the citizens.
