KARACHI: Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET) secured first position, winning the final match against Karachi University at HEC Zone ‘G’ Hockey Championship. Chief Guest of the event was Dr Farhan Essa and it was attended by a large number of sports lovers besides Registrar Syed Sarfraz Ali, says a Press release.
According to the details, final match of HEC Zone G Hockey Championship was played between Sir Syed University and Karachi University at Olympian Islahuddin Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah Stadium. Hockey team of Sir Syed University gave out brilliant performance and played very well. Finally, SSUET team beat KU by 3-2 and won trophy for securing 1st position in the championship.
Appreciating the performance of SSUET hockey team, Registrar Syed Sarfraz Ali said, “This great success is the result of brilliant performance by SSUET team and good team work.”
