Zardari discharged from 2nd New hospital
KARACHI: Asif Ali Zardari, co-chairman of the PPP, was released from a private hospital on Sunday,
The former president has been relocated to Bilawal House in the city after being released, the sources continued.
For an infection in one of his lungs, Zardari was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Karachi’s Clifton neighbourhood. On September 27, his health deteriorated, and he was admitted to the hospital.
Recently, false information about the former president and co-chairman of the PPP was circulated.
Dr. Asim Hussain, Zardari’s personal physician, denied on Friday that the PPP leader’s “health condition” was “deteriorating” as per reports circulating on various social media platforms.
Speaking to Geo News, Hussain claimed that all such reports were untrue because his patient was doing well and would be released from the hospital in a few days.
An “x-ray” making the rounds on social media does not belong to the former president, according to Senator Sherry Rehman, minister for climate change.
