ISLAMABAD: Gold prices plunged for the third consecutive day on Friday as 10 grams yellow metal price in the country was recorded at Rs95,700 after a decrease of Rs2,900.
The price of 10 grams gold was also recorded at Rs98,600 on Thursday last.
Meanwhile, gold price in the international spot market came down after it was reported that 140,000 people lost jobs in the US during December. Gold was available at $1,853.10 an ounce at 1520 hours GMT after losing $61.70 an ounce in its value as compared to its value on Thursday last. – TLTP
