KARACHI: Pakistani rupee continued gaining strength against the US dollar for the fourth consecutive day and gained another 39-paisa in its value against the US dollar in interbank on Friday.
The US dollar was traded at Rs166.79 against Rs167.18 on last trading day (Thursday), according to a tweet of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
During the last four days, Pakistani rupee has been overall strengthened by Rs1.19.
Meanwhile, State Bank of Pakistan in a tweet on Thursday last said that foreign reserves of the country stand at S16.99 billion as on April 03.
According to the SBP tweet, out of total foreign reserves of the country, $10.72 billion are with the central bank and $6.27 billion with other banks of the country. – TLTP
