KARACHI: Pakistani rupee continued gaining strengthen against the US dollar on Wednesday and gained 76-paisa in its value in interbank.
The US dollar was traded at Rs160.36 against Rs161.12 on last trading day (Tuesday), according to a tweet of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). This increase in the local currency is mainly due to $1.4 billion IMF loan and deferment in payments of foreign debt.
During the last three days, Pakistani rupee has been strengthened by Rs3.21 against the international currency. – TLTP
