KARACHI: Gerry’s International, the Official General Sales Agent (GSA) of Philippine Airlines in Pakistan, commemorated the 128th Philippine Independence Day with a special cake-cutting ceremony in Karachi, celebrating the enduring values of freedom, unity and national pride.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. M. Imran Yousuf, Consul General a.h. at the Consulate of the Republic of the Philippines in Karachi, Pakistan. Hanif Zakaria, Chief Operating Officer of Gerry’s International, Lt. Col. Aurangzeb Ali (Retd.), Senior Vice President, and valued team members of Gerry’s International were also present on the occasion.
The event provided a meaningful opportunity to pay tribute to the rich heritage, resilience and spirit of the Filipino people. Speakers and participants highlighted the importance of the day as a symbol of national identity and independence for the people of the Philippines.
The gathering also reflected the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and the Philippines, while reaffirming the role of Gerry’s International and Philippine Airlines in further strengthening people-to-people and travel links between the two countries.
