ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has said that welfare of the media persons and facilitating them to perform their professional duties is the top most priority of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Talking to a delegation of journalists led by former President Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists Afzal Butt, the information minister said that the government believes in freedom of expression and supports the genuine demands of journalists.
Shibli Faraz said that ensuring transparency and merit in the governance is the motto of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The minister said that a system is being evolved which would help resolve problems of the media professionals. – TLTP
