KARACHI: Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has achieved a significant milestone by successfully dispatching its first export shipment of Ecstar Engine Oil to Oman, becoming Pakistan’s first original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to export branded engine oil. Ecstar is a globally recognised brand, renowned for its high-performance automotive, motorcycle and outboard engine oils.

A ceremony was held to mark the occasion, attended by Pak Suzuki Motor Company Managing Director Hiroshi Kawamura and President and CEO of Idemitsu Lube Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, Tomohiro Yamashita, along with senior members of their respective teams.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Kawamura highlighted Pak Suzuki’s long-standing presence in Pakistan, noting that the company was established in 1983. He recalled that vehicle exports to Nepal and Bangladesh began in 1997 and said the export of Ecstar Engine Oil to Oman represents another encouraging milestone in the company’s export journey. He added that Pak Suzuki’s expanding export activities are contributing positively to the Government of Pakistan’s objectives of promoting and enhancing national exports.
On the occasion, Mr. Yamashita congratulated Pak Suzuki on achieving the milestone and expressed his appreciation to the entire PSMC team for their efforts and collaboration in making the first Ecstar engine oil export a success.
