PPP women leaders strongly condemn the brutal murder of a woman in B’chistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Senator Palwasha Khan and Senator Qurat-ul-Ain Marri strongly condemned the brutal murder of a woman in Balochistan, says a Press release.
Addressing a joint Press conference in Islamabad, Senator Palwasha Khan said that if such lawlessness is to persist, then the courts might as well be locked. She stated that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was the first to condemn this heartbreaking incident.
She added that in Sindh, even when a camel’s leg was severed, voices were raised – so how can one remain silent over the murder of two human beings in Balochistan? She further remarked that they have heard Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is planning to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan on August 5.
On the other hand, Senator Qurat-ul-Ain Marri strongly reacted to the Swat incident and said that those responsible must be brought to justice at all costs, as they deliberately allowed innocent citizens to perish. She stated that millions of houses built in Sindh withstood the floods, while in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there is no sign of accountability. No one is there to asks questions, and no one is willing to hold anyone accountable.
She emphasized to eliminate encroachments on storm drains to ensure the safety of human lives. On this occasion, while commenting on the sons of the PTI founder, Senator Qurat-ul-Ain Marri questioned why they are coming forward after so many years. “Where were they all this time, and what has suddenly awakened them now?” she asked.
With sarcasm, she remarked, “How have the sons suddenly become aware of their father’s suffering? And now, they even extend birthday greetings to an uncle who is a known killer of Muslims.”
