The Islamic Republic of Iran, due to its defense of the Islamic Ummah especially the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza and also because of its pursuit of independence, has always been the target of the hostility and enmity of the enemies of Islam and global Zionism.
Despite an unprecedented alliance, the United States, Israel, NATO, and certain treacherous countries in the region failed to defeat the Islamic Republic of Iran during the twelve-days war, nor were they able to mobilize the Iranian people against the Islamic system governing Iran. Consequently, they lay in wait for an opportunity to vent their malice and achieve their satanic (sinister) objectives.
Over the past two weeks, due to an increase in exchange rates and the prices of certain goods in Iran, a number of people constituting less than one percent of Iran’s population took to the streets to express their protests. The system of the Islamic Republic of Iran recognizes protest as the legitimate right of its citizens and did not oppose or confront this action in any way. However, a group of treacherous, trained individuals and terrorists linked to Israel, by forming small groups and acting on instructions received from foreign elements, infiltrated the public protests. By inciting the protesters, and in clear violation of all international laws, they began to destroy public property, hospitals, ambulances, set fire to mosques, religious centers, copies of the Holy Qur’an, banks, fire stations, as well as people’s homes, shops, and private vehicles, and opened fire on the police with military weapons. As a result of these incidents, dozens of security and law-enforcement personnel as well as innocent individuals lost martyred.
In this regard, through the precise actions of the police, many armed mercenary traitors who had a history of membership in terrorist groups and had committed crimes were arrested, and the pursuit of other perpetrators and killers is continuing.
In recent days, especially on Monday, the 12th January 2026, tens of millions of Iranians across cities throughout the country particularly in Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Yazd, and Qom took part in massive rallies to reaffirm their firm support for the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, His Eminence Imam Khamenei, and for the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. They demonstrated that the hollow threats of the President of the United States and global Zionism have had no effect on their steadfast determination to continue on the path of independence.
In view of the necessity of maintaining the security of Iranian citizens, international communication networks faced certain restrictions, which will be lifted soon.
It is emphasized that media outlets such as the BBC, CNN, Fox News, and similar organizations are media tools of the global hegemonic front, and that what they broadcast regarding Iran’s limited internal protests is generally false and accompanied by exaggeration. The overwhelming majority of the Muslim people of Iran support their Leader and are firmly opposed to foreign interference and to mercenaries affiliated with the United States and Israel, including the Zionist, treacherous, and anti-Islamic Reza Pahlavi, and they did not support or accompany these disturbances.
