KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted intermittent strong winds for Karachi on Tuesday and Wednesday, with light fog expected on Wednesday morning.
The weather in the city will likely remain dry and cool over the next 24 hours, with minimum temperatures anticipated between 11°C and 13°C. On Tuesday, the recorded minimum temperature was 12.5°C, while humidity stood at 52%. Light winds are blowing from the northeast, contributing to the chilly conditions.
Upcoming Cold Wave
A cold wave is forecasted to hit Karachi and other parts of Sindh around January 24, potentially driving temperatures in the port city down to single digits. This shift is linked to cold westerly winds, which may also bring rainfall in various regions and snowfall in mountainous areas.
Citizens are advised to take precautions against the cold and stay updated on weather alerts for potential rain and wind-related disruptions.
