HYDERABAD: The central annual mourning procession for the martyrdom of Imam Musa Kazim (AS) will be held at Dargah Masooma-e-Sindh, Agham Kot, on Sunday, January 26. The Taboot of Imam Musa Kazim (AS) will be taken out from the shrine of Masooma-e-Sindh (SA).
The event marks the observance of 25th Rajab Al-Murajab, corresponding to Sunday, January 26. Renowned scholar Allama Syed Ali Ahmed Bilgrami, Allama Ayaz Qomi, and other distinguished religious figures will deliver addresses during the central mourning gathering (Majlis) at 10:00 a.m. Following the Majlis, the coffin of the Imam will be taken out, and mourning rituals will continue till late in the night.
A statement from the Zaireen Khidmat Committee at Dargah Masooma-e-Sindh states that after the Majlis, prominent Noha reciters, including Mir Imdad Ali Piral Talpur, Agha Syed Mehr Ali Shah, and other senior poets of Sindh, will perform Noha Khwani. Leading Matmi (mourning) associations will participate in ritualistic Matam. Caravans of mourners from across Sindh are expected to join the event throughout the day and night.
