KHAN GARH: In a significant crackdown on narcotics, police arrested three suspects and seized 1.92 kilograms of hashish, 180 liters of liquor, and a functioning distillery—all under a budget of PKR 100,000, officials reported on Wednesday.
The operation, led by SHO Zarif Khan, involved coordinated raids across various locations under the jurisdiction of the Khan Garh police station. The team confiscated 1.92 kilograms of hashish from suspects Jabir Hussain alias Bala and Muhammad Saeed.
Additionally, 180 liters of liquor were recovered, and an operational distillery was dismantled following the arrest of another suspect, Jabbar Bharani.
Cases have been registered against the suspects, and further investigation is underway to uncover additional leads related to narcotics distribution in the region. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying operations against drug trafficking to ensure public safety.
