On the auspicious occasion of the 77th Founding Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, I extend my warmest felicitations to the Government, leadership and brotherly people of China.
The year 2026 is particularly significant as Pakistan and China celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations-a remarkable journey characterized by mutual trust, respect and unwavering friendship. Over the decades, this relationship has evolved into an All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, standing firm through changing regional and global circumstances.
The media has an important responsibility in further strengthening this historic friendship by promoting greater understanding between our peoples and highlighting the achievements of bilateral cooperation. Enhanced collaboration between Pakistani and Chinese media institutions, journalists and digital platforms can play a vital role in bringing our societies closer and effectively countering misinformation.
The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a flagship project of the Belt and Road Initiative, remains a powerful symbol of our shared commitment to development, connectivity and prosperity. Its next phase offers tremendous opportunities in technology, industry, agriculture and people-to-people cooperation.
As we celebrate this historic milestone, Pakistan remains committed to further deepening its partnership with China and carrying this friendship forward for future generations.
