KEC celebrates Women’s Day with Aaghosh Home
On the occasion of International Women’s Day during the reported week, few members of Karachi Editors Club (KEC) along with the Secretary General KEC visited Aaghosh Home to celebrate Women’s Day with the residents of Aaghosh Home, a home for shelter less and ignored women by society which is being served by President Aaghosh Trust Shagufta Saba with all required facilities since last 18 years. KEC delegation along with Shagufta President, Jazib, General Secretary and Shakil Baig Trustee of Aaghosh Trust visited Aaghosh Home and met the residents of Aaghosh and congratulated them on the Women’s Day.
On this occasion in her message Shagufta Saba said that “Our Jism and Marzi both are not our own, nor we came in this world without our own Marzi and nor we can go back with our consent. Our body will be buried in the earth. Who say our jism and our marzi those are illiterate. She said Jism and Marzi both are from God. She said we women, mothers, sisters, daughters are respected in the nations; we should play our role for the betterment of the society, which is the need of hour. She said our role should be strengthened and empowered to women.
Miracle in Cell No.7
The special show of Turkish movie “Miracle in Cell No.7” was held at Atrium during the reported week with attendance from media and film enthusiasts including socialites and celebrities. The film, brought by HKC Entertainment, was received with accolades and practically everyone in the audience emerged teary-eyed and visibly moved.
‘Miracle in Cell No. 7’ is a heartrending story about the love between a mentally-ill father (Mehmet) and his young daughter. Mehmet is wrongly accused of murder. Mehmet’s life is turned upside down when he is sentenced to the death penalty for a crime he didn’t commit. Only a miracle can reunite him with his daughter so that they can return to the life they love so dearly.
The film is beautifully acted and also boasts slick cinematography and editing. HKC Entertainment is very hopeful that they have brought in one of the finest films of Turkey and audiences here will support to see the film and make it a success in Pakistan too. The film is being released in Turkish language with English subtitles on Friday 13 March 2020 all across Pakistan.
Islamisation is the essence of Pakistan Movement
The first Official session of Aam Log Ittehad Pakistan Party held at Ascalia Lawn on at Karachi, presided over by Dr. Hafiz Qaiser in which his party nominated official team demands from the elected government to form presidential form of government in the country. Dr. Hafiz Qaiser discussed his party manifesto and the critical economic situation of the country having special emphasize on the existing corruption in the entire country. He said that ruling political parties were become the public limited companies which are doing their own business and having no interest in public issues.
Finance Secretary Mohammed Arshad said, “Our Children are not safe in this Country.” Islamisation is the essence of Pakistan movement which becomes the basis of Pakistan but in the Seventy years our different political parties fails to implement Islamic principles.
The other who delivered their address are Shahid Awan, Molana Shafique, Dr.Saleem Haider, Ansar Burney, Akbar Shams, Allama Nadir Ali Rizvi, Frazana Burney, and others.
