KARACHI: Whales College has received ‘Apna Karachi Award’ over its extraordinary performance in educational and co-curriculum activities Minister for Sindh Local Government, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the encouragement of educational organizations will definitely fruitful for education as well as students so, all stakeholders should play their role for the improvement of education and wellbeing of learners, says a Press release.
Nasir Hussain Shah was speaking on the occasion at a local hotel Monday in which Whales College was awarded ‘Apna Karachi Award’ for best presentation in different curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani, Administrator Karachi Laeeq Ahmed, former Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Prof Dr Atta-ur-Rahman, former Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team Sarfraz Ahmed, Durdana Butt, Hina Dilpareez and many others attended the ceremony.
Saeed Ghani said that the Sindh governments doing its best to resolve all educational issues while the government will continue its efforts for promoting education and vocational training programs in urban as well as rural areas without any discrimination.
Dean Whales College, Muhammad Wahaj Hussain thanked Apna Karachi Administration and hoped that the government will keep continue these types of encouraging programs and events in future.
