BRUSSELS (Germany): A demonstration was held in Brussels, the European Headquarters in order to express solidarity with the oppressed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, says a Press release.
The gathering was organized by Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) in front of WSC building the Belgium’s capital city on Friday.
The demonstrators were holding banners having slogans calling for withdrawal of Indian forces and end of the atrocities in the occupied Kashmir.
Talking to the media at conclusion of the gathering, the organizer of the demonstration Ali Raza Syed who is chairman of KC-EU said, European Union should play its role for end of the brutalities in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
It is important to mention that earlier in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference called for complete shutdown on Friday against the surge in Indian state terrorism.
The occupied Kashmir specially Shopian, Islamabad and Pulwama districts were witnessed the massacres of youth and destruction of residential houses by Indian troops in the past two weeks.
Ali Raza Syed said, international community including EU and UN should take immediate notice of the worst human rights situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Chairman Kashmir Council EU also condemned continuation of detention of the Kashmiri political leaders and pro freedom activists and called for their immediate release.
Regarding upcoming EU-India summit on 8th May in Portugal said, Ali raza Syed said, in its upcoming dialogue with India, the European Union should raise the worse situation of human rights in the occupied Kashmir.
