4th Afeef Beach View Sindh Ranking Tennis Championship begins

Starting today is the 4th Afeef Beach View Sindh Ranking Tennis Championship.

KARACHI: The 4th Afeef Beach View Sindh Ranking Tennis Championships commenced at DA Beach View Club Karachi, says a Press release.

Week long Championship is being sponsored by Afeef Group and organizers have received 100 plus entries in various events, Shehzer Ali, promising boy from Karachi Club impressed the audience with his fine base line game when he eliminated Kashif Zahir in two straight sets, in the first Round of Under 17 Singles and Faiz Ilyas beat Rohan Das in three sets with 0-4, 4-0,4-1 score in the first round of Under 13 Singles.

In Wheelchair Tennis Singles, six male and XT two female players took part, Muhammad Ayub of PTCL emerged victorious in Final beating Imran Siddiqui with 6-4 score.

Results Day One:
Men’s Singles: Farhan Altaf beat Sheeraz Khan 6-1, 6-0.
Under 17 Singles 1st Round: Kashan Tariq beat Jagdesh Manjo by 6-1, 6-0; Bilal Ikram beat Saqlain Moosa by 6-0, 6-0; Shehzer Ali beat Kashif Zahir by 6-4, 6-3.

Under 13 Singles 1st Round: Ruhab Faisal beat Aahil Imran by 4-0, 4-1; Faiz Ilyas beat Rohan Das by 0-4, 4-0, 4-1.

Under 11 Singles 1st Round: Aidh Imran beat Sufyan Shafi by 4-0, 4-1; Meer Abbas Bhagat beat Huzaifa Zahid by 4-0, 4-0.

Wheelchair Tennis Final: Muhammad Ayub beat Imran Siddiqui by 6-4.
