The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted no-objection certificates (NOCs) to 12 Pakistani cricketers, allowing them to participate in international cricket leagues such as the United States’ Major League Cricket (MLC), Sri Lanka’s Lanka Premier League (LPL), and other tournaments.

These players will showcase their talents in the inaugural Major League Cricket, set to begin on July 5 in the United States.

PCB’s Policy on League Participation
The PCB maintains a policy restricting centrally contracted players to participate in no more than two leagues. Due to this rule, wicketkeeper-batsman Azam Khan had to withdraw from the LPL as he could not obtain an NOC from the board.
Pending NOCs
Azam Khan and Saim Ayub, who are set to play for the Guyana Warriors in the upcoming CPL 2024, are yet to receive their NOCs from the PCB.
