The Pakistan U18 Volleyball Team delivered a commanding performance to defeat India 3-0 in their match at the 15th Asian Men’s U18 Volleyball Championship in Bahrain on Monday. Pakistan showcased dominance throughout the game, maintaining pressure on the Indian team. Despite a brief challenge in the second set, which went to a tie-breaker, Pakistan won with set scores of 25-20, 29-27, and 25-15.
Key performances by Ajmal Junaid, Abubaker, Muhammad Yahya, and Muhammad Anas were instrumental in this victory, with their skillful play and teamwork proving decisive. In recognition of their achievement, the chairman of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation has announced a reward of $100 for each player and coaching staff member.
Pakistan will next face Kuwait on July 30, 2024, at 9 PM Pakistan time.
