WhatsApp is introducing a new GIPHY sticker search feature, designed to enhance how users express their emotions in chats. This update, available in WhatsApp for iOS version 24.17.78, integrates GIPHY to provide a more accurate and diverse range of stickers.
With this new feature, users can easily find the perfect sticker to convey their feelings, even if it’s not part of their personal collection. Additionally, a “move sticker to the top” option has been added to the sticker tray, allowing users to rearrange their stickers for quicker access to their favorites.
The update also includes improvements to the media viewer. Users can now reply to photos, videos, or GIFs directly from the media viewer screen using new shortcuts located at the bottom. The reply shortcut opens a reply bar, while the reaction shortcut lets users express their emotions with emoji reactions without interrupting their viewing experience.
These features are being rolled out gradually and may take some time to appear on all accounts. If they are not yet available, ensure WhatsApp is updated via the App Store and TestFlight app to access the latest features.
