Johnson’s Claims About Royal Family’s Involvement in Harry and Meghan’s Exit
In his memoir, Johnson also alleges that the royal family urged him to dissuade Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from stepping down as senior working royals in 2020. He described the effort as a “hopeless” endeavor. However, a Palace insider has reportedly denied these claims, stating that no officials asked Johnson to intervene in the couple’s decision to leave the UK.
