Pakistan Army Committed to Eradicating Terrorism: COAS General Asim Munir

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s unwavering commitment to rooting out terrorism in all its forms during his visit to Wana, South Waziristan on Sunday. The army chief declared that the financiers, facilitators, and abettors of Fitna Al Khwarij would be held accountable for their activities against the state.

Reception in Wana

Upon arrival in Wana, the COAS was received by the Corps Commander Peshawar, reflecting the army’s focus on the tribal regions as a priority in counter-terrorism efforts.

The visit underscores the Pakistan Army’s ongoing commitment to securing the country from internal and external threats while acknowledging the sacrifices of its personnel in the fight against terrorism.
