KARACHI: The during of load-shedding in Saddar Town Bazerta Lines has been increased to more than 15 hours and the power shedding that begins at 1.00 am is restored after many hours. Pakistan People’s Party leaders of the area have indicated to state a protest against the unannounced load-shedding in Bazerta Lines.
According to details, load-shedding duration even in the winter seasons has crossed more than 15 hours daily; three-hour load-shedding is observed from 1.00 am to 4.00 am, 6.00 am to 7.30 am besides off and on unannounced load-shedding.
The senior PPP leader ofPS-109 Imtiaz Ali Shah Khattak says that if the K-Electric did not improve the situation then they would come out on the roads. He further said that if the electricity is being stolen in the area then the action may be taken against the electricity thief instead of affecting the whole population of the area.
He disclosed that they have also met the K-Electric authorities and apprised them of the unscheduled load-shedding but they did not respond in a positive manner forcing us to think about carry out the gherao of the K-Electric offices.
