DUBAI (UAE): Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi attended the fifth graduation ceremony of Bath Spa University (a British university based in Ras-al-Khaimah-UAE) in Dubai.
The event was attended by a large number of diplomats including Ambassador of Philippines to the UAE Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver, academicians and other professionals. Vice Chancellor of the University Sue Rigby and CEO Raja Sajjad Hussain were also present.
Around 165 postgraduates and under-graduates were awarded with certificates while the high achievers were also conferred with medals.
Ambassador Tirmizi in his remarks congratulated the graduating students, their teachers and parents; and praised Bath Spa University for rendering quality and affordable education in various disciplines of the current need.
He appreciated the University for achieving many milestones in a short span of time. The Ambassador encouraged the graduates to move forward and have faith in their talents. He motivated them to be focused on their objectives and keep their goals in mind as they have the capacity to accomplish incredible things.
Ambassador Tirmizi also appreciated the leadership and management of the University for organizing such a great event.
He suggested that the Bath Spa University should benefit from the expertise of high ranking Universities of Pakistan by collaboration in exchange of students and faculty members.
He said that frequent seminars and workshops of the universities should be held for mutual interest.
